About Debi

A lifelong artist, debi’s work has been described as

ethereal, spiritual, and prophetic. She is a series artist.

When she begins a series, she never knows how many

pieces will be included. When she completes a series,

she never returns to it, as she embarks on creating an

entirely new collection of paintings.

Her captivating oil paintings have been exhibited in

galleries, juried art shows, and museums. In Dallas,

she was featured in an exhibition in conjunction with a

national retrospective of Norman Rockwell.

debi equates painting as essential to her as breathing.

Her life reflects one totally immersed in art. She has

studied art in bohemian districts, galleries, museums,

castles, and gothic cathedrals throughout the U.S.,

Europe, and the Middle East.

Visual Prayers, a full-color art book, contains over 80

of debi’s paintings and drawings, along with her personal commentary on each unique

series. She has also authored and illustrated an allegorical, poetic book entitled

Wordivore World, based on her “Wordivore” series of canvas drawings. She co-authored

with her husband, Michael, a volume of poetry entitled, Lightning Bolts & Butterflies.

Her latest book, Jonah – Through the Eyes of an Artist, a study guide for the artistically

debi has two studios in picturesque Palmer Lake, Colorado. She has also received

recognition as a respected conference speaker. In 2009, an Honorary Doctor of Sacred

Arts Degree was conferred on debi in recognition of her more than 40 years of utilizing

her talents to impact our culture.
